     Lake Springfield 4/24/2005 Tournament Results

23 degrees and 30 + mph winds, bluebird skies all day long, nowhere to hide from this cold front. To make things a little more difficult there was a big tournament the day before on the lake. Well someone always manages to bring them in, always. My money is on the Takahiro Brothers; they almost failed and showed us they are humans. Bob and Jim Blumenstein did it again they earned another victory, their second one in a row. They weighed in 2 bass for a total of 5.14 lbs. Jim Blumenstein is sponsored by Surfer’s Hot Rods of Plainfield, Cutting Edge Document Destruction of Bolingbrook and Farmers Insurance Group of Bolingbrook. The team of Rick Spehn and Chip Potter gutted out second place with One bass , the Big Bass of the tournament weighing 3.41 lbs. There were 18 anglers and 3 keepers weighed in, it was tuff out there.
